Joan Ford, a leader in
ScrapTherapy Workshops has combined her love of scraps with Texture Magic.
Introducing Dog Gone Scrappy a machine applique piece based on the traditional Scottie dog motif.

web site for pattern details.
Joan has shared with us her excitement as she has worked with Texture Magic in her pattern designs:
"I think everyone who hasn't seen this stuff is amazed at what happens when steam is added. In the test class for this pattern, I used a piece of Texture Magic with the fabric sewn on, ready to shrink - I did a free motion meander all over - and did the steamy part in front of the class. We all decided it reminded us of doing 'shrinky-dinks' when we were kids. And so cool to flip the piece over and see how it came out!
In particular I was very pleased that the Texture Magic worked equally as well with fabric that is pieced as it does with fabric that is left whole. Since just about everything I design is made from small scraps, it was really fun to put scraps together and watch the magic happen! "
Thank you Joan for sharing with us your designs made with
Texture Magic.
