King Tut In Solid Colors?

Question: Do you carry
King Tut (500 yard spools) in solid colors?
Mother Superior's Answer:
There are only six solid colors (971, 972, 973, 974, 976, 977). However, of the remaining 94 colors, about 60 of them are tone-on-tone variegated colors which appear solid from two feet away but are actually 4 very close shades. These tone-on-tone shades are much better than solids. Just like fabrics, very rarely do you see a true solid fabric anymore.
For example, instead of a medium blue thread that one must try to match the perfect shade, the King Tut medium blue has four very close shades of medium blues. This makes a much better color match than a single solid color. Fabric has evolved like this also. A blue fabric today is almost always a print design, a mottled color design or a hand-dyed design.
King Tut: Nature's finest thread. Extremely low lint #40/3-ply extra-long staple Egyptian-grown cotton. All variegated colors have a one-inch color change interval.
