Sue Warren (
Sue's Quilt Projects) of Lake Norman, North Carolina lives a very active life as a retiree.
She says she is "always open to learn new things involving crafts and quilt projects."
Recently Sue sent us pictures of her completed Textured Tote made with Texture Magic.
"My first encounter with Texture Magic was at The Quilter's Loft in Mooresville, NC. There was a sample purse made with Texture Magic on display in the store. I thought it was really unique and decided to try out the product. This bag with glasses case and small zipper bag was my first project with Texture Magic; however, I plan to make an additional bag next week for my Mother. I have had several people admire my purse when I carry it. Their comments were about the textured fabric and the beautiful fabric choice."
One of the ways Sue made Textured Tote and Accessories uniquely her own was by placing a piece of batting between the focus fabric and the Texture Magic.
"I really loved using the Texture Magic. It gives a plain tote bag a new look with the added dimension that Texture Magic gives to the fabric. I liked using the batting between the Texture Magic and the main fabric. It allowed the bag to have enough stiffness to stand up."
