Texture Magic Tuesday/ Working with Vintage Linen

Cindy Neeham is well known for her beautiful wholecloth quilts using vintage linens.
We were excited to see how she incorporated Texture Magic in a recent project.
"I've received several requests from guilds where I will be teaching to offer a workshop in Texture Magic so I needed to come up with some class samples. Of course I had to try it out on some old linen first! I had a piece of drawn thread work that was completely destroyed in the middle with numerous holes and stains and decided to use this as my test sample. " Cindy said.

"I cut a piece of Texture Magic the same size and with my Highlights threads stitched straight lines approximately 1/2" apart and then steamed it. It came out beautifully."
"I then cut it into triangles and used it in the corners of my lace yardage blocks. I texturized some beige cotton sateen and used it for my border. I love how this has turned out and am excited to try this on some other old linens. I think this has some great possibilities in my Crazy Linen Quilts too." Beautiful work Cindy! We are looking forward to seeing what you will be doing next with Texture Magic.
