Olga Schrichte of Maryland, recently joined a "Chicken Challenge" at a local quilt store.
Each participant was asked to use Susan Fuquay's design Patience The Chicken and make it their own.
Olga enlarged the pattern and used
Texture Magic with a batik to make this wonderful tea cozy.
"I used Texture Magic to add texture to her body, tail and red features on her head. I made the trivet out of cording wrapped with coordinating fabric." Olga said.
Patience has two looks.
One side is sewn in a bronze
Metallic by Superior Threads.
The other side is sewn in a blue
King Tut.
Our thanks to Olga for sending us pictures of her project and for using both Texture Magic and Superior Threads.
