That's correct. You can use those gorgeous Metallic Threads for machine embroidery. We recommend following a few steps to help you get even stitches.
#1- Use high-quality Metallic Thread.
#2- Have the thread unwind off the cone or spool in the manner it should. (Cones should unwind off the top and spools of metallic thread should unwind off the side.)
#3- Use the correct needle. We recommend Superior's Topstitch #90/14. This needle has a larger eye than the standard 75/11 embroidery needle. It is also titanium-coated which will keep your needle sharper, longer.
#4- Loosen your top tension down to 1.0 This is our baseline, if the tension needs to be adjusted, we will make the necessary changes from this point.
#5- Slow down your SPM. This will put less stress on the thread as it passes through your machine and needle.
