Q. I've been wondering if there were titanium coated needles for my home sewing machine for a while now. I have been using titanium coated Groz-Beckert needles for my longarm and they're great! A quick question... I have a Juki TL-98E that I use for all my quilt piecing and a lot of my other sewing. I go through needles at an alarming rate with all the sewing I do. I currently use Organ needles in this machine, will the new titanium coated needles work too? If they will, then I am
DEFINITELY going to buy some!
A. Yes, our Titanium-coated Topstitch Needles fit ALL home machines. Home machine needles are all based off a standard set of schematics. They all have a flat shank, and the needle can only be inserted in one direction. There are however, many different styles of needles available for your home sewing machine, such as: Topstitch, embroidery, universal, leather, double eye, sharp, ball point, etc. We use the Topstitch style needle for all quilting, sewing, and embroidery since it encompasses the best traits of all the other needle styles into one.
