Dear International Customers, welcome to Superior Threads! We have been sending packages to 6 continents for many years and know that on occasion, international shipments require additional steps for delivery. We have compiled the most frequently asked questions and provided answers about orders which are shipped to international addresses. Please read the Q&A below.

When will my order ship?

We do our best to ship orders within 24 hours of placement. We are closed on the weekend, so orders placed during Friday-Sunday will be delayed until Monday. We are closed periodically for holidays and orders placed during a holiday break will wait to be shipped until the following business day. We're pretty good at getting your order picked, packed, and shipped in a fast manner.

What are my shipping options?

Orders are shipped via DHL, FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Shipping costs are calculated based on package weight, dimensional weight and package destination. Expedited shipping methods, such as Priority Mail Express International or FedEx Express International are more expensive than standard delivery methods. Shipping prices vary by country (and final destination within a country), but the costs and available shipping methods will be displayed to you during the checkout process.

What are the duties and taxes for threads?

You are responsible for any additional charges and/or fees associated with your order. If you have a question about what the duty or VAT rate is, please contact your local Post Office as they will have the information you seek. Since many countries differ on rules and regulations, we are not allowed to pre-pay any charges or fees on your behalf. It is also requisite that we document the exact cost to you for our products for a proper customs validation.
