Hair Tinsel is a wonderful addition to hair, fit for any occasion.  No longer do you need to rely on harsh bleach and dye to change up your hair style. Weave or tie thread into your hair and it instantly becomes "Tinsel"!

Glitter Tinsel Our Glitter Hologram thread is the most popular thread being used as Hair Tinsel. It is Flat Iron safe up to Medium Heat/400° F, can be washed, conditioned, curled with a curling iron (on medium heat) and blow dried.  Keep in mind that Hair Tinsel in general is delicate and can be subject to stretching and breakage if not treated correctly.  Glitter Hair Tinsel is available in 24 holographic colors.

We also carry thread for Hair Embellishment.

These threads fall into a different category than traditional "Hair Tinsel" due to their thicker size and unique traits. We carry 4 lines of threads which are currently used as hair embellishment.  These threads are tied into hair the same way as our Glitter Hair tinsel, but are thicker and create a different look when worn.  

Razzle Dazzle, which is our thickest Hair Embellishment thread is great for braiding and singe-strand styles.  Razzle Dazzle will not hold a curl due to its size and weight of the fiber. Razzle Dazzle is available in 25 colors wound on 110 yd. spools.  When looking for a bold hair embellishment thread, Razzle Dazzle is what you want. Wash, Blow Dryer, & Flat iron (on medium heat) safe.

Halo is a metallized-polyester thread which is used for single strand hair embellishment This thread consists of a single strand of our Glitter Hologram thread wound together with a strong polyester thread.  It gives a great reflection when worn and is available in 36 colors.Halo comes wound on 550 yd. spools. Wash, Blow Dryer, & Flat iron (on medium heat) safe.

SunBurst color-changing hair embellishment is a UV activated thread.  It is white when indoors, but step outside and as soon as the UV rays hit the thread, it will change color.   SunBurst is a finer thread for Hair Embellishment and it is best utilized when several strands are woven in a particular area of hair to give it a bold effect.  The colors will also stand out against lighter-hair shades best.  Due to its special UV dye, extra care is recommended.  We don't recommend swimming (due to chlorine), Blow Drying on high heat, or flat ironing this thread.  It will lessen it's color-changing effectiveness. SunBurst is available in 8 colors and comes wound on 200 yd. spools.

NiteLite glow-in-the-dark Hair Embellishment is exactly what is sounds like. It is colored in light but as soon as the lights are out, it will glow!  This thread is delicate, similar to our SunBurst thread and we recommend taking extra care when wearing it in your hair. We don't recommend swimming (due to chlorine), Blow Drying on high heat, or flat ironing this thread.  It will lessen it's glowing effectiveness.  NiteLite Hair Embellishment thread will "charge" from any light source and glow for up to 6 hours! For a bold noticeable glow, we recommend applying several strands of NiteLite in a focused area for a strong glow effect. NiteLite is available in 6 colors and wound on 80 yd. spools.
