Color Changing Thread
- SunBurst is #40 sunlight-activated color changing polyester thread. Indoors the thread is white, expose it to sunlight and it instantly changes to color! Go back inside and the color changes back to white.
Conductive Thread
- Conductive thread is an amazing thread which carries electricity and completes circuits. Our Conductive thread is a Tex 90 and has a resistance rating of 4.5 ohms/foot. Use Conductive thread in your next etextile project to link LED's together or use Conductive thread to stitch little 'connections' on the tips of your gloves so you can use your smart phone or tablet in the cold without needing to remove your gloves.
Fusible Thread
- Charlotte's Fusible Web is a nylon fusible thread. Replace stiff fusible webbing with our fusible thread. Wind onto the bobbin and stitch an outline of the appliqué piece using MonoPoly on top. Simply iron the appliqué piece onto your fabric, pull MonoPoly out and it is set. Follow through with a nice satin stitch around the edges for a classy look. (Please view our instructions and videos)
Glow-in-the-dark Thread
- NiteLite Extra Glow is a #40 polyester glow-in-the-dark thread, available in 6 colors. Charge in natural or artificial light. Glow time is up to six hours, night after night. Washer and dryer safe (low heat). Do not bleach.

Water Soluble Thread

Vanish is a water soluble thread (dissolves in water) for machine and hand basting, trapunto, and other uses. It is available in two weights (thicknesses), Vanish-Extra and Vanish-Lite. Both are available on spools and mini cones. Store Vanish is a resealable bag in a dry place. For best results, use Vanish in both the top and bottom.
