"I use Superior MasterPiece for all of my piecing . I do have some various stash spools of other brands but since I have been piecing more, I have switched to Superior exclusively. "I've just used MasterPiece thread on a small wall hanging  I noticed that the bobbin really holds a lot of this thread so I've only had to fill the bobbin twice.  I use a Topstitch needle and lowered the tension  to 2.0 and was extremely pleased with the stitch.  My Bernina Aurora 440 loves it.  Purrs like a kitten." -m.b.

It actually makes for more accurate piecing because it is a strong two-ply thread that doesn't add thickness to the piecing. And there is almost NO lint.  " Just wanted you to know that after piecing with MasterPiece thread for the first time, I am in love! What a difference it makes. There is so little lint in my machine I can hardly believe it. My accuracy in piecing in better because the thread is so fine (but oh so strong). I must admit I worried a bit about the strength until I had to pick some out - then I knew how strong it was. I can get so much thread on a bobbin I could sew so much longer without having to stop and refill the bobbin. My sewing line is just beautiful. Because of its size (50 wt. 2-ply 100% cotton) it is a thinner thread and therefore makes less bulk in the seam. " I ordered a small spool of MasterPiece for piecing. I wish now that I had placed several cones in my order. Just now I put some muslin on and had at it. What wonderful thread. I changed to a size 16 needle, loosened up the threads, top and bottom, and am having a wonderful time with feathers. Long spines, from bottom to top, and small feathers, large feathers, right to left and left to right. All directions are wonderful with this thread. Thanks again. MasterPiece is a wonderful product.
