"For months now (2 years) I have been trying to use metallic thread successfully on my Bernina 830 Series machine – no success.  Yesterday I bought your metallic thread at the Quilt Show in Hershey PA and tried it last night.  The stitches were perfect!  It was as if I were sewing regular polyester.  Needless to say I was stunned.  So today I am putting in an order for more thread colors and will now be successful sewing metallics.  Thank you so much!" s.s.

"I don’t quilt frequently and everyone cautioned me against using metallic thread.  But I had heard such good things about the Superior Metallics, so I decided to give them a try.  Success!!  The metallic thread was so easy to use—I didn’t run into breakage, missed stitches, or have thread ‘nests’.  And it gave me the exact look I was going for—a subtle sparkle of gold.  Thanks for the great product, I look forward to using different colors in future projects! -a.s."

"I adore the Superior metallics. Once you get the machine and needle right, it runs through the needle like magic, doesn't split and snag like so many metallics. I have used it a lot on quilts and bags. Keep up the great supply of fabulous threads! Cheers. "-b.j.

"Last November I was lucky enough to be in your area and visit your place.  I purchased some thread of which I just opened and used yesterday  - Rainbows high sheen and can I just tell you that I love, love, love it!  I also have some purple metallic and invisible MonoPoly thread and just wanted you to know what a joy it is to sew with these threads.  I also especially like the fact that the needle size is on the label too as that helps so much.  I've used many other brands and I have to say that Superior Threads is by far the absolute best. Keep up the terrific work and I hope to get back there some time to purchase more of your wonderful product." -l.e.

" I bought Metallic thread in Puyallup several years ago and I love quilting with it. Little girls love having a quilt quilted with ”bling”. The titanium-coated needles I just bought from you are so wonderful. They really last a long time and are terrific for quilting. I am know as a thread snob because I only use thread from you. " ~ p.d.

" Thank you so much!!! I just love your thread and tell everyone that I quilt for that they would do well to stick with Superior King Tut and So Fine for a great finish for their quilts. I just tried your Metallics for the first time on my quilting machine and they worked like a charm. I will be sure to tell my guild how well they worked! You have great products and your service has been the best! " ~ b.s.

" I used your new Titanium needles and I thought I was in heaven! Those things sew metallic threads like butter spreading over bread! Thanks Mr. Bob the Thread Guy and Mother Superior! " ~ r.p.

" I love the Superior metallic thread and have tremendous success pairing it with the titanium-coated needles I bought from Superior recently.  When I last ordered metallic thread, the website suggested I might want to try these needles and am I ever glad I did. " ~ r.q.

" Superior is the ONLY metallic thread I use. It's a wonderful thread. I highly recommend it. I've never had a problem using it in my embroidery machine. Thanks for taking the frustration out of embroidering with metallics. " ~ b.r.

" I have used many metallics and nothing slides through the needle with no problems like Superior metallics. They're wonderful! " ~ s.d.

" I just have to gush a bit about your metallic thread. I have been free motion quilting for the last 3 days using the gold and copper metallic thread and I can't believe how fabulous it is.  No breakage or loops in my stitching. I have never had luck with metallics and have avoided them for 4 years because of all the problems with breakage, looping and shredding....consistently ugly to work with. I shout out my Thank You for such a superior product. " ~ k.m.

" I just wanted to let you know how happy I was with my purchase of your Superior Gold Metallic thread. I am hesitant to use metallic because of breakage , but I tried the thread I just purchased and it was smooth as silk. I ran it though by Brother Pro 600 without a glitch. Did not even adjust tension. Now I am encouraged to start the embroidery on silk I have been dreaming about. " ~ c.c.

" There are two things that I swore years ago that I would avoid if at all possible: using metallic thread on a machine and stitching with metallic thread by hand. Well, when I received your metallic thread, I decided to give it a try. What did I have to lose, other than a lot of my hair? I used it to quilt a jacket. I did not even have a broken thread or any problems at all with the thread. I loved it so much that I bought your large cone of it. Oh, yes, the jacket took first place in our state fair that year. I love all of your threads, but I absolutely swear by your metallic threads. " ~ p.h.

“I recently had occasion to use your gold metallic thread for quilting.  I just dreaded using metallic as "they always broke".  What a wonderful experience to quilt an entire Advent Calendar and never once did your metallic thread break. " ~ s.t.

" I had to write you and say how much I LOVE your metallic threads.  I just completed a Christmas wall hanging, all fusible applique, and all the quilting was done in your metallics, with a metallic needle.  I needed a lighter color (I didn't have this color in Superior), but it was another brand I found in my drawer.  Well, after attempting to stitch about 2 square inches, I pulled it off the machine and tossed it in the trash.  This other brand was awful.   I plan to order all the other colors I don't have in Superior metallics.  Your threads are great! Merry Christmas and God Bless! " ~ j.w.

" I have been using your threads for years and there is now a joke at our show and tell time at our quilt guild meetings, especially when a new member inquires about quilting done with metallic thread. "That is Florence's doing. She recommended it to us and when our group was at the quilt expo she insisted that we try just one spool of Superior metallic and we would be believers and now we will not use anything else." Our guild knows Superior Threads to be the best there is. At the May meeting they were talking about your fine Egyptian extra long staple MasterPiece they found at a quilt shop. Really enjoy your newsletters from the tips to the humor. Thank you for your so, so "Superior Threads." Your loyal customer. " ~ f.t.

" I just wanted to let you know that after 20 years of quilting and frustration because I wanted to use metallic threads and just couldn't do it with out breaking and all kinds of messy threads on the back, even with the right needles I could never get it right. I recently bought several spools of Superior Metallic after Libby's glowing comments and finally tried some for some Christmas projects. IT WAS WONDEFUL! I could not believe it. I went running in to show my hubby who couldn't understand my excitement but Bless his heart he tried to be excited with me. I can hardly wait to try some more. I sewed for almost 2 hours and it all came out beautifully. I will never use anything else. " ~ f.e.

" I swore off metallics years ago. Then I received a sample of Superiors Gold Metallic with my longarm machine and decided to try it on a practice piece. It was wonderful. No problems at all. Then I heavily quilted a jacket with it and had absolutely no breaks and no other problems with it. I used Bottom Line in the bobbin. I strongly recommend Superior's metallics. " ~ a.l.

" I continue to be in awe of the quality of your thread. A friend tells me that she used your metallics for the first time last week and now she's going to completely restock her metallics collection with Superior. Your company is appropriately named, not only for a quality product, but also quality service. Thank you SO much for such a prompt response to my problem. I'd heard you were good, but I have to admit my jaw dropped when I saw your e-mail in my inbox. " ~ s.k.

" Yesterday, I embroidered all day. The designs was a 54" linen table runner. I used my 90/14 topstitch needle. The running time on the designs exceeded 130 minutes. I had multiple thread breaks with another brand of thread. However, I had not a single thread break with the Superior Metallic threads that I substituted in two places. Even though they were going into heavy concentrations of thread, they just ran and ran and ran. I just don't understand people who think metallic threads are difficult to use. " ~ s.b.

" Hello Superior Threads. I had the chance to use the metallic threads today on my Gammill Classic and it was wonderful! I have been machine quilting for 5 years and this is a first! " ~ h.s.

" Superior metallics are great. I sew at full tilt on my old Brother 1500 without a break. Good stuff. " ~ m.h.

" Just wanted to let you know that I'm am finally doing a project with metallic thread. It is wonderful. I am satin stitching a wall hanging and your thread hasn't even broken once. What a pleasure it is to work with your metallic thread. " ~ n.l.

" Hello, Never in my life have I seen a product live up to its name. Superior threads are just that, superior. I did an entire project after receiving my order and did not have a single thread break with the silver metallic. I did not even have to adjust the tension. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will order all the colors now that I know Superior is, truly, superior. Many thanks. " ~ s.w.

" I love Superior threads. Their metallic thread cannot be beat. It really is trouble-free. Once you use their metallic thread you'll never use another brand. " ~ s.l.

" I have just finished using the metallic thread that I bought. I heavily quilted with the multi color metallic, copper metallic, and used the Glitter (blue and pink) all with the same multi color metallic thread in the bobbin. NOT ONE TIME did the thread show through on the back....I am quite impressed. I was really expecting the dark blue to show through, but not once. HORRAY for you! " ~ m.q.

" I had given up on metallic threads long ago. I quit trying because I had so much trouble with thread breaking and I was just substituting gray for silver, rust for copper, yellow for gold, etc. Then I read something about Superior Metallics so I decided to try them. I have just stitched out the Mardi Gras Jester from EmbLibrary.com - and it is exquisite!!! When I started the Metallics, I held my breath and didn't leave my Bernina for a minute. I couldn't believe it NEVER BROKE ONCE!! I'm a believer now! I had ordered the gold, silver, and copper just to try them, but now I'm ordering a lot of the other colors! " ~ h.c.

" Today I was the first chance I had to use the gold metallic thread I purchased from you. It was so wonderful! I can't say enough good things about it. I have NEVER been able to keep metallic thread from breaking, so I'm thrilled. Many thanks! " ~ s.w.

" I promised ya'll I'd try to get your threads in a local store so I could have access to them. Well, my local store bought the line, and I now have all but three or four. I LOVE those metallics. My Artista would not hardly sew with the competition's offerings, but I can even use it with your threads. Am now spreading the word in North Carolina where I'm teaching thread art classes. Keep up the good work! " ~ s.g.

" I want to share with everyone the best metallic threads I have ever used Superior Threads. I do a lot of machine quilting and these threads never break for me and they are beautiful! I am not affiliated with the them, just a very happy customer. Check them out. " ~ j.v.

" Hi. I just did a T-shirt with a lot of lettering and designs. Did the whole design with Superior Threads metallic threads. Not one break, shred, or tear. Really the best Ive found. " ~ c.d.

" Just a quick note to share the fantastic experience I've been having with the Superior Metallics and Glitter. I've stitched out Mary Englebreit's Hello Santa on Royal Blue Velveteen; Santa and the Toys (Bernina used in Advertising Campaign- Black decorated robe) on Red Velveteen; the Candy Cane on red velveteen; the Quilt Square with the Smiling Snowman-enlarged on Black sparkle cotton; the Believe Santa on Spruce Green Velveteen. I used from 50% to 85 % of the Superior metallics in stitching these designs - ME designs take from 30K to 49K stitches with metallic stitching on metallic! This thread took the stitching beautifully and give a wonderfully glowing look to ME's work! Making gift bags, door knockers, door pillows, gift ornaments for the holidays. If working with metallics has been a horror for you, then don't give up before you've tried the Superior Threads. Several embroiderers have talked about Superior before but working with this thread has exceeded all expectations. " ~ l.g.

" I just want to let you know that I LOVE Superior Metallic thread. I digitize part time and go through a lot of thread. I normally avoid metallic thread because of all the problems, breakage, etc..... I thought I would give it a try because of all the good things I have read about this thread. I am currently using the Glitter and the Superior metallic, and it doesn't break or fray and the glitter metallic has an incredible look! They both have completely changed my attitude about metallic thread. Thanks again for offering such a quality product! " ~ m.w.

" Hi, just did a T-shirt with a ballerina bear & lots of lettering, did the whole design with Superior Threads Metallic Threads. Not one break, shred or tear. Really the best I've found! " ~ j.d.

" I absolutely love your gold metallic thread. I thought the color was flashy, but it is awesome. Tried it on a challenge quilt I am doing, and it worked out great, did an embroidery design, did not use a metallic needle, maybe an 80 cannot remember, and it only broke once. You earned your superior thread name. " ~ b.n.

" You have the best metallics I have found and hope everyone get theirs from you. Yours don't break no matter how old the needle or how many hours I spend at the machine. Your thread is the greatest. " ~ t.t.

" I finally had time to use the silver metallic I bought. Used a lacy, cathedral window type design on 2 layers of water soluble stabilizer(no fabric), held my breath for 27 minutes of sewing; not one breakage and the design was perfect. Can't say enough good things about your thread. Have said this on the Artista list and will also post on the HATS list. You'll be getting more orders from me. " ~ c.b.

" I bought some of your gold metallic thread and it is wonderful! I have used it in my Brother single-head 12-needle machine. It did not break once. Just wanted to let you know how happy I am with it. " ~ t.f.

" I just finished some needlelace using the gold metallic. It truly does not break during the stitching. I put it in the bobbin as well as the top since it is seen on both sides and it worked so well I am still amazed. I always tried to do things in gold as that is my favorite, but was so frustrated with the other brands that I gave it up. I think I will throw the old stuff away and bury my frustrations. Thanks again. I know you will get many customers. " ~ l.k.

" I just thought that I would share a pretty valuable lesson (for me) I have learned about sewing with metallic thread. The quality of the metallic thread and how it is made makes all the difference in the world about how it sews. Your thread is just gorgeous. When I stitched out my design with his thread, I was so amazed. I used the Glitter - did NOT use any special needle -- just my trusty organ needle used for almost all stitching. It stitched the entire time with no tangles, and NO thread breaks. I have never had that kind of results with any metallic thread although some brands are definitely more user friendly than others. I as well as others am definitely sold on the Superior Metallic Threads. " ~ b.p.

" Bought gold metallic thread. It is terrific! Can't believe that it does not break! And the finished results are gorgeous! I am telling all my embroidering friends about your thread. " ~ j.d.

" I just want to pass on to you that there is a company that has the most fantastic metallic thread that you will ever find. It is Superior Threads. With this thread I have been able to use a regular needle to sew with it and just like those that had purchased it from him at other retreats said -- it just doesn't break. They have a super product. It is by far the best metallic that any of us have ever found. When I know about a good product I love to pass it on so others can take advantage of it also. " ~ b.o.

" I wanted to tell you I used several of the Glitter. They worked great. I'm usually leery of the metallics. Didn't have any problems at all. I'll use more now that I've found some good ones. " ~ s.o.

" I especially love your variegated metallic. I have found so many uses and they stitch so well. " ~ g.l.

" I bought both your Metallic and Glitter threads and have to tell you that they sew beautifully. I had also bought several spools of another brand from another company and had a terrible time with breakage of their thread, no matter what I tried, from different needles to looser tension to different thread holders, etc. so it was indeed a joy to discover how wonderful your threads sewed without having to use special needles, etc. Thank you. Your quality product has made me a customer. " ~ n.p.

" Tried the metallic thread. Sewed 15 shirts at 800spi without a thread break. We will be ordering more thread. " ~ l.b.

" Here's my tip to everyone: Go take a look Superior Threads. This is wonderful thread. Their metallic thread was totally "to die for. But take a really close look at the hologram thread (I believe it's called Glitter). This thread is so soft and supple when sewn that you can't believe that you can get that much glitz from such a soft thread. It sews out with more sparkle than regular metallic thread " ~ M.L.
