'Hair Tinsel' is a fashion trend where strands of tinsel (thread) are braided or tied into  hair (like extensions) to add a decorative flair to hairstyles. Grade-school girls to Grandmothers are catching onto this trend!


Glitter Glamour is currently the most popular thread being used as Hair Tinsel. It is flat iron, curling iron, and blow dryer safe (up to medium heat), can be washed and conditioned, and handle day-to-day activities.  Keep in mind that Hair Tinsel in general is delicate and can be subject to stretching and breakage if not treated correctly.  Please be careful when brushing your hair with Glitter Glamour as it is possible to snag the tinsel and pull it out unwillingly.
