• I received my University kit on Friday, and made the time to work on it today. I thought you would like to know that I was very pleased. Bobbin work is something I see in magazines and think, "oh, I could do that, BUT it would require this, that, etc." so I've never done it. Instead, I sat down with your instructions for the sample tension piece, and once I had done that I jumped into the mug rug. It seemed simple enough, and it was. (Clearly I am not great at free-motion work, but getting practice is the point, right?) I hope that the University courses continue with projects I would have skipped on my own. Thanks for this great course!
  
  
• I received my first class in the mail this week.  I wanted to thank you for providing this learning experience. I'm having sooooo much fun! The supplies for this month's project were more than I expected. The directions were very user friendly and that's saying a lot coming from a First Grade teacher who has to be extremely specific about directions. I have years of sewing experience under my belt , but even a beginner sewer can follow along successfully.  Thank you again, and I'll be looking forward to all the projects in the months to come!
  
  
• I almost cried when I got my "Letter of Acceptance"-[w]hat a fabulous idea!!!  Then all the extras, binder and sheet protectors... I love, LOVE the test sandwiches for each type of thread that we're going to get.  I am truly SO excited!
