The School of Threadology
We started the School of Threadology many years ago to share everything we know about thread. Our journey led to researching needles, machine mechanics, tension, bobbins, and all-things sewing and quilting. Each School of Threadology session features a teacher or set of teachers who are the top-notch talent in their field. We've had sessions featuring home quilters, sewists, serger experts, award-winning longarm quilters, technique gurus, embroidery masters, and more!
Each School of Threadology session is unique. Every instructor brings their own set of skills and expertise. We know that you will have a fun experience and learn sew much at any of our School of Threadology events.
Where is the School of Threadology?
We host most of our School of Threadology sessions at our facility in the red rocks of St. George, Utah. There are hotels and lodging close to our office and plenty of activities to keep you busy before and after the Threadology session. Why not turn your trip into a vacation? St. George, Utah is located 1 hour 45 min. north of Las Vegas. The St. George airport (airport code is SGU) is serviced by American Airlines (via Phoenix), Delta (via Salt Lake City), and United Airlines (via Denver). If husbands or friends want to enjoy a vacation while you attend the School of Threadology, our lovely small city of 80,000 has 12 golf courses. Zion National Park is 45 minutes away, the Grand Canyon North Rim is 147 miles away and Bryce Canyon National Park (one of our favorites) is 140 miles away.
We currently don't have scheduled events. As we arrange sessions for the School of Threadology, we will post information on this page.
