Presenting Diane Phillips' spectacular quilt, "Supernova".  Here's a quick description from Diane about her quilt.

Supernova by Diane Phillips

"I am fascinated by the Universe, especially Supernovas, the most violent explosion of a star.  The colors in the quilt spiral out from the center with 3,000 crystals representing the stardust being ejected from the explosion."
The pattern is Glacier Star by Judy Niemeyer

The following Superior Threads were used in the creation of this quilt:

So Fine #50
Bottom Line
Glitter
Variegated Metallic
Kimono Silk
MonoPoly

What a gorgeous quilt! Wouldn't you agree?
