Superior Spotlight: Karen H.

Posted: 22 April 2014 at 6 a.m.

We are pleased as punch to show off some fantastic creations made by our friend, Karen H. from Canada.  She is an amazing quilter, crafter, and blogger.  She graciously gave us permission to post images of some of her beautiful quilts, which were created with some beautiful Superior Threads (of course!).

First, we have this beautiful miniature which Karen used Bottom Line for stippling. Bottom Line was used in both the top and bobbin.

Karen also used Bottom Line (Statue and Gold) for quilting this gorgeous quilt ‘Baskets and Nine Patches’.

But Karen’s talent does not stop there.  She quilted this amazing top with So Fine! #50 and used MonoPoly for stitch in the ditch.

Lazy Girl

This beautiful Love Entwined quilt was appliqued using Kimono Silk.  Don’t you love how the silk seems to disappear into the fabric?

If you are as amazed as we are by Karen’s talents, you can see more of her inspiration, crafts, tutorials, and tips on her blog

Gorgeous quilting, Karen. I learn so much from you, and if you like Superior threads then I will give them a try as well. I already use their Monofilament thread, but will try the So Fine and Bottom Line as well. Thank you.
