We value our relationships with our wholesale customers and as such, we choose qualified resellers and businesses that uphold our Superior values.

ACCOUNT ACTIVATION/TERMINATION

In order to qualify for a Wholesale Superior Threads account, you must operate a business in the craft, hobby, sewing or quilting-related industries. If you are retailing (reselling) Superior Threads’ products, whether online or in a physical storefront, you must have posted hours and/or own and maintain a digital storefront on your own, proprietary website.

Superior Threads’ products may be sold on a proprietary website. However, we do not permit the practice of retailers selling on third party marketplaces, auction sites, or subsidiaries of such. Including, but not limited to: Amazon, Etsy, eBay, etc.

All businesses must provide documentation showing the business is operating and in good standing. Acceptable documents include: proof of business from your state, business license from your local municipality, employer identification letter from the IRS, sales tax permit, etc. All documents must include your business name.

All businesses must purchase at least $500 from SuperiorThreads.com within a rolling twelve-month period to maintain active business account status. There is no per-order minimum purchase amount and no first order purchase amount requirements when ordering directly from Superior Threads.

Superior Threads retains the right to terminate business accounts at any time. Examples of events that may lead to account termination may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Account inactivity
  • Significant price discounting
  • Selling on third party marketplaces
  • Insufficient or expired business documents.

We encourage all Wholesale accounts to order through our website – www.superiorthreads.com. Approved Wholesale accounts will see wholesale prices on applicable products upon login, using the email address and password associated with the registered wholesale account. Orders may also be placed over the phone by calling our office at 1-800-499-1777. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MT.

We do not backorder products that are out of stock when an order is placed. In the event that an ordered product is unavailable, you will be contacted regarding necessary order adjustments before your order will be shipped.

We have negotiated favorable shipping rates from multiple carriers. Shipping rates are quoted based on destination, package weight, and shipping method.

Orders of $150 or more that are shipped to addresses within the 50 U.S. states will qualify for free shipping. We will choose the carrier and shipping method. If you prefer to expedite your order, you may request or select a shipping method of your choice during order placement.

For international orders, we offer negotiated rates through the following carriers: DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. The recipient is responsible for any duties, taxes, and surcharges.

SALES TAX

Several U.S. states require us to collect sales tax on orders shipped to addresses within their state. Both Wholesale and Retail customers in taxable states will be charged sales tax unless appropriate sales tax exemption documentation is provided. The following states require us to charge sales tax unless the customer has provided us with a sales tax exemption certificate:

PRICING AND RETURNS

Wholesale pricing is not available for certain products, such as fabrics, kits and books.

From time to time, Superior Threads offers promotions on our website and at consumer and trade shows. If the promotion is applicable to approved Wholesale customers, the sale information will reflect this explicitly.

In an effort to promote a fair competitive environment for all of our customers, Superior Threads recommends general adherence to our minimum suggested retail pricing.

Items may be approved for return by contacting us within 30 days of the original invoice date. Once a return is approved, any items shipped back to Superior Threads are to be shipped at the expense of the customer.

All items must be in original and resalable condition, e.g. no additional labels or stickers attached, smoke exposure, physical damage, etc. We reserve the right to refuse and/or adjust returns based on the condition of the returned product. A 10% restocking fee will be applied to returns and the balance will be posted as a credit on your account. All returned items must have been originally purchased directly from Superior Threads.

TRADEMARKS AND LEGAL

The names Superior Threads and superiorthreads.com, the Superior Threads logo and product logos, and the products and services described on www.superiorthreads.com (the website), including without limitation any registered or unregistered trademarks, are either trademarks or registered trademarks of Superior Threads and its licensors, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission from Superior Threads.

In addition, all page headers, custom graphics, button icons, and scripts are service marks, trademarks, and/or trade dress of Superior Threads and may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission from Superior Threads.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Delaware, of the United States of America applicable to agreements made and entirely to be performed within this jurisdiction, without resort to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be filed only in state court of Delaware or in federal court in Delaware and you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts over any suit, action or proceeding arising out of these terms and conditions.

Superior Threads and www.superiorthreads.com reserve the right to amend at any time any policies governing their business, including these Terms and Conditions, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, by posting the amended terms and providing notice of such amendments. The amended terms shall be effective upon posting. If you do not accept the amended terms, you should notify Superior Threads and request your account to be terminated.

Notwithstanding any of these terms and conditions, Superior Threads reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your Wholesale account and to block or prevent future access to and use of their website and associated websites, forums, and social media websites. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
